Diffun Quirino

Many places that I would like to tell about, but I will first boast about my hometown, my beloved blooded-land.

The municipality of Diffun is found inside the territory of the Province of Quirino. This is where I was born, and first saw what the world was like.

The humble town of Diffun was not so progressive when I first wandered in its circumference. There was a small market which later improved around the late 90s. In the beginning of the 20^th century, there entered the great technology that dominated many places in the world, the computers. Diffun was the very first place that got access to the world wide web “www”. The computers of Quirino State College served as the servers of internet in the whole province. But not until the majority of the population got an access to more complicated technology in the 21^st century.

From the song “Quirino Hymn,” there was a little description of Diffun in the very short song dedicated to all Quirinians-th residents of Quirino. “From Diffun as our gateway, through verdant hills and rolling plains…………..” the first picture of Diffun could be concluded in our minds. Yes, Diffun was surrounded by the aftershocks of the Sierra Madre ranges.

The Municipal Hall is humble as the town. It is designed with the technology of Engineering and Architecture of the early 1980s. The structure is so humble and simple until the rule of a lady as the Municipal Mayor-May Garnace Calaunan. Even in the most simple design, the rules were properly implemented and the right governance runs in the four corners of the municipality.

Let me tell you about the places I have been. Their cultures, practices, and their very way of living. As I wander around this planet in this given life by God, I have been different places, which I had observe many things.
